Density
Length

The Ombre Lace Front Human Hair Wig is a finished ombre human hair wig with a lace front, offered in 12 lengths and two density options. Its colour transitions from dark roots into a lighter length.

Materials and construction

  • Hair: 100% human hair.
  • Construction: lace front.
  • The ombre colour is finished before delivery; the lighter sections are pre-lightened and more porous than the darker roots.

Lengths and density

  • Lengths: 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30, or 32 inches.
  • Density: 150 or 180. Density describes the amount of hair on the cap, not a quality grade.
  • 150 density is described as a lighter, natural-looking option for everyday wear. 180 density is fuller and more dramatic, and is suited to shoppers seeking a thicker look or a wig for photography.

Features

  • The lace front can be trimmed to the wearer’s hairline; the parting is described as reading like scalp.
  • Human hair can be washed and restyled, including straightening or curling.
  • Heat styling is suitable with heat protectant; use extra care with heat on the lighter sections.
  • The wig can be dyed darker, but cannot be lifted lighter again without bleaching.
  • There are 24 combinations of the 12 listed lengths and two densities.

Use cases

This wig is listed for everyday wear, a full and dramatic look, and photography. Shoppers seeking a lighter, natural-looking option may prefer 150 density. Those who want a fuller, more dramatic appearance may prefer 180 density. The range from 10 to 32 inches provides options from a bob length to longer styles, with the same dark-root-to-lighter-length ombre colour.

Included

The box includes 1 wig. No additional accessories are specified.

Care

Wash in cool water with sulphate-free shampoo. Apply conditioner to the mid-lengths and ends. Use heat protectant for heat styling and go easy with heat on lighter sections. The wig can be dyed darker; making it lighter again requires bleaching.

Length and shrinkage guide

All our lengths are measured stretched. Textured hair sits shorter than its stated measurement once it is dry:

  • Straight — almost no shrinkage. What you order is what you see.
  • Body wave — an inch or two shorter.
  • Deep wave and water wave — roughly a fifth to a quarter shorter.
  • Curly and kinky curly — up to half. A 20 inch curly piece can sit at 10 inches once dry.

If you are between two lengths, take the longer one. Length disappointment is the commonest reason wigs get sent back, and sizing up costs nothing.

Wigs also arrive compressed from packaging and look thinner and shorter than expected. Shake it out and let it hang before judging it.

Choosing your cap

The cap decides how convincing the wig looks and how much skill it takes to put on. Neither end of this list is better — they suit different people.

  • 4x4 closure — the simplest to install and the hardest to get wrong. One parting position. The sensible first wig.
  • 4x6, 4x7 and 5x5 closure — a wider lace area, so you can move your parting without exposing the cap.
  • 13x4 frontal — ear to ear coverage with real parting space. Middle part, deep side sweep, or moved between wears.
  • 13x5 and 13x6 frontal — five or six inches of depth, so a deep middle part stays convincing all the way back.
  • 360 frontal — lace around the whole perimeter. The only option if you want high ponytails and updos.
  • V-part and half wigs — no lace at all. Your own hair is left out to blend, so the parting is genuinely your scalp.

Frontals give the most freedom and take the most practice. Closures are quicker, more forgiving, and often wearable glueless with straps and combs.

Care

A human hair wig has no scalp feeding it oil, so the ends dry out faster than your own hair would. Looking after it is the difference between a wig that lasts a season and one that lasts years.

  • Detangle from the ends upward, never from the roots down. On textured hair, do it wet with conditioner in — dry brushing pulls the wave or curl pattern out permanently.
  • Wash sparingly with a sulphate-free shampoo, in sections rather than piling it up.
  • Condition through the mid-lengths and ends rather than the roots, and use a weekly mask.
  • Air dry on a stand. Allow plenty of time at higher densities — a dense wig put away damp is how wigs develop a smell.
  • Heat protectant every time, at moderate temperatures. Repeated high heat wears a wig out faster than anything else.
  • Refresh between wears with water and a little conditioner in a spray bottle rather than rewashing.
  • Handle lace gently at the hairline, and store on a stand so the shape holds.

On coloured hair: reds and blondes fade fastest. Wash in cool water, and use a purple toning shampoo every few washes on blonde and highlighted pieces.

Returns

Unopened items in their original packaging can be returned within 14 days of delivery. For hygiene reasons, wigs, hairpieces and hair extensions cannot be returned once the packaging is opened, or once the hair has been worn, washed, cut, coloured or otherwise altered — so please check the length and cap type before opening.

If an item arrives faulty, damaged or incorrect, contact us within 30 days and we will replace it or refund you in full. Your statutory rights are unaffected. Full details are in our refund policy.

Shipping

Free shipping to the UK, USA, Canada and France on every order. No minimum spend, nothing to work out.

Everywhere else, shipping is free on orders over £150, or the equivalent in your local currency. Below that, the rate is shown at checkout before you pay, based on your delivery address.

Delivery takes 3 to 25 business days depending on destination. Orders to the UK, USA, Canada and France arrive at the faster end of that range; more distant destinations take longer.

Shipping is charged per order rather than per item, so buying more than one piece at a time is usually the cheapest way to order — and it may take you over the free shipping threshold.

    Frequently Asked Questions

What density should I choose for this Ombre Lace Front Human Hair Wig?
Choose 150 density for a lighter, more natural everyday look that is designed to appear closer to average growing hair. Choose 180 density if you prefer a fuller, more dramatic appearance that holds a blowout better and photographs bigger, although it is heavier and less natural-looking in bright light.
What lengths and colour options are available?
This Ombre Lace Front Human Hair Wig is available in twelve lengths: 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30, and 32 inches. Each option features an ombre colour with a dark root transitioning into a lighter length, and both 150 and 180 densities are available.
How should I wash and style the ombre human hair wig?
Wash the wig in cool water with sulphate-free shampoo, keeping conditioner on the mid-lengths and ends. It can be straightened, curled, washed, and dyed darker; use heat protectant when heat styling and take extra care with the lighter, more porous sections.
