This is the dense one
Density is the specification people pay least attention to and regret most. Length is easy to picture; density decides whether a wig looks like a full head of hair or like hair draped over a cap. Most lace fronts are built to 150% or 180%. This one starts where those finish.
On blonde it matters twice over. Pale hair lets light through it, so thin ends give a wig away far faster in 613 than in black. At 200% and above the hair stays as thick at the ends as it is at the roots, which is the difference between looking like a lot of hair and looking like a wig.
An honest note on 230%: it is heavy. It gives the fullest result available and it is spectacular in photographs, but if you wear a wig all day at a desk, 200% will be more comfortable and still fuller than almost anything else you'll find.
13x4 lace front
Thirteen inches across, four back — ear-to-ear coverage with real parting space. Part it in the middle, sweep it deeply to one side, or move the parting between wears without a cap edge showing. Laid and trimmed properly, the lace sits flat against the skin and the hairline reads as scalp.

Find your length
Twenty inches through to thirty-eight, measured stretched. 20"–24" sits between the collarbone and mid-back, the easiest range to wear daily. 26"–30" runs through the mid-back to the waist. 32" and beyond is statement length — and at this density it carries genuine weight, so be sure before committing to the longest options.

Why it's worth buying
- Density you can't easily buy elsewhere. Most of the market tops out at 180%. Starting at 200% means no thin ends to compensate for.

Caring for dense blonde hair
613 has already been lightened, so treat it gently and it lasts. Use a purple toning shampoo every few washes to stop the blonde drifting brassy. Wash with a sulphate-free shampoo in sections rather than piling it up, and condition through the mid-lengths and ends rather than the roots. Dry it on a stand and allow plenty of time — a 230% wig takes considerably longer to air dry than a standard one, and putting it away damp is how wigs develop a smell. Detangle from the ends upward with a wide-tooth comb, use a heat protectant, and keep temperatures moderate. If you're planning to tone or dye it, strand test first.

Length and shrinkage guide
All our lengths are measured stretched. Textured hair sits shorter than its stated measurement once it is dry:
- Straight — almost no shrinkage. What you order is what you see.
- Body wave — an inch or two shorter.
- Deep wave and water wave — roughly a fifth to a quarter shorter.
- Curly and kinky curly — up to half. A 20 inch curly piece can sit at 10 inches once dry.
If you are between two lengths, take the longer one. Length disappointment is the commonest reason wigs get sent back, and sizing up costs nothing.
Wigs also arrive compressed from packaging and look thinner and shorter than expected. Shake it out and let it hang before judging it.
Choosing your cap
The cap decides how convincing the wig looks and how much skill it takes to put on. Neither end of this list is better — they suit different people.
- 4x4 closure — the simplest to install and the hardest to get wrong. One parting position. The sensible first wig.
- 4x6, 4x7 and 5x5 closure — a wider lace area, so you can move your parting without exposing the cap.
- 13x4 frontal — ear to ear coverage with real parting space. Middle part, deep side sweep, or moved between wears.
- 13x5 and 13x6 frontal — five or six inches of depth, so a deep middle part stays convincing all the way back.
- 360 frontal — lace around the whole perimeter. The only option if you want high ponytails and updos.
- V-part and half wigs — no lace at all. Your own hair is left out to blend, so the parting is genuinely your scalp.
Frontals give the most freedom and take the most practice. Closures are quicker, more forgiving, and often wearable glueless with straps and combs.
Care
A human hair wig has no scalp feeding it oil, so the ends dry out faster than your own hair would. Looking after it is the difference between a wig that lasts a season and one that lasts years.
- Detangle from the ends upward, never from the roots down. On textured hair, do it wet with conditioner in — dry brushing pulls the wave or curl pattern out permanently.
- Wash sparingly with a sulphate-free shampoo, in sections rather than piling it up.
- Condition through the mid-lengths and ends rather than the roots, and use a weekly mask.
- Air dry on a stand. Allow plenty of time at higher densities — a dense wig put away damp is how wigs develop a smell.
- Heat protectant every time, at moderate temperatures. Repeated high heat wears a wig out faster than anything else.
- Refresh between wears with water and a little conditioner in a spray bottle rather than rewashing.
- Handle lace gently at the hairline, and store on a stand so the shape holds.
On coloured hair: reds and blondes fade fastest. Wash in cool water, and use a purple toning shampoo every few washes on blonde and highlighted pieces.
