Length

Loose Deep Wave 13x4 Transparent Lace Wig is a Remy human hair wig with a loose deep wave texture and a 13x4 transparent Swiss lace front. It is available in seven lengths from 14 to 30 inches. The colour is described as natural in the product details and black in the saved Shopify colour attribute.

Materials and construction

The wig is made from 100% Remy human hair, with cuticles aligned in one direction. Its front is hand-knotted and its back is machine-wefted. The lace is transparent Swiss lace, described as finer and more delicate than standard lace. The wave pattern is open and defined, between a curl and a body wave.

Features and specifications

  • Lace front: 13x4 lace extending ear to ear, with deep parting across the front.
  • Texture: Loose deep wave; the pattern tightens and defines when damp.
  • Lengths: 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24 and 30 inches, measured stretched.
  • Cap size: Average.
  • Colouring: Specified for darker shades only.
  • In the box: One wig.

The dry, unstretched wave hangs roughly one-fifth to one-quarter shorter than its stated stretched length; for example, a 20-inch wig sits around 15–16 inches on the head.

Use cases

This Loose Deep Wave 13x4 Transparent Lace Wig is suitable for wet-and-wavy styling: wash it, scrunch it and leave it to dry for a defined wave pattern. The merchant also identifies it as suitable for holidays. Its 13x4 lace front allows deep parting across the front and lets the hair be pulled back from the face without showing the cap edge, according to the product details. It is suited to shoppers seeking a Remy human hair wig in loose deep wave, with length options from 14 to 30 inches, including a 30-inch option.

Care

Wash, scrunch and leave to dry. Detangle while damp with conditioner, starting at the ends; do not dry-brush, as this can pull out the wave pattern. Handle the hairline gently and do not drag a comb through the knots. Dye darker shades only; lifting to a lighter colour is not recommended in the product details.

Length and shrinkage guide

All our lengths are measured stretched. Textured hair sits shorter than its stated measurement once it is dry:

  • Straight — almost no shrinkage. What you order is what you see.
  • Body wave — an inch or two shorter.
  • Deep wave and water wave — roughly a fifth to a quarter shorter.
  • Curly and kinky curly — up to half. A 20 inch curly piece can sit at 10 inches once dry.

If you are between two lengths, take the longer one. Length disappointment is the commonest reason wigs get sent back, and sizing up costs nothing.

Wigs also arrive compressed from packaging and look thinner and shorter than expected. Shake it out and let it hang before judging it.

Choosing your cap

The cap decides how convincing the wig looks and how much skill it takes to put on. Neither end of this list is better — they suit different people.

  • 4x4 closure — the simplest to install and the hardest to get wrong. One parting position. The sensible first wig.
  • 4x6, 4x7 and 5x5 closure — a wider lace area, so you can move your parting without exposing the cap.
  • 13x4 frontal — ear to ear coverage with real parting space. Middle part, deep side sweep, or moved between wears.
  • 13x5 and 13x6 frontal — five or six inches of depth, so a deep middle part stays convincing all the way back.
  • 360 frontal — lace around the whole perimeter. The only option if you want high ponytails and updos.
  • V-part and half wigs — no lace at all. Your own hair is left out to blend, so the parting is genuinely your scalp.

Frontals give the most freedom and take the most practice. Closures are quicker, more forgiving, and often wearable glueless with straps and combs.

Care

A human hair wig has no scalp feeding it oil, so the ends dry out faster than your own hair would. Looking after it is the difference between a wig that lasts a season and one that lasts years.

  • Detangle from the ends upward, never from the roots down. On textured hair, do it wet with conditioner in — dry brushing pulls the wave or curl pattern out permanently.
  • Wash sparingly with a sulphate-free shampoo, in sections rather than piling it up.
  • Condition through the mid-lengths and ends rather than the roots, and use a weekly mask.
  • Air dry on a stand. Allow plenty of time at higher densities — a dense wig put away damp is how wigs develop a smell.
  • Heat protectant every time, at moderate temperatures. Repeated high heat wears a wig out faster than anything else.
  • Refresh between wears with water and a little conditioner in a spray bottle rather than rewashing.
  • Handle lace gently at the hairline, and store on a stand so the shape holds.

On coloured hair: reds and blondes fade fastest. Wash in cool water, and use a purple toning shampoo every few washes on blonde and highlighted pieces.

Returns

Unopened items in their original packaging can be returned within 14 days of delivery. For hygiene reasons, wigs, hairpieces and hair extensions cannot be returned once the packaging is opened, or once the hair has been worn, washed, cut, coloured or otherwise altered — so please check the length and cap type before opening.

If an item arrives faulty, damaged or incorrect, contact us within 30 days and we will replace it or refund you in full. Your statutory rights are unaffected. Full details are in our refund policy.

Shipping

Free shipping to the UK, USA, Canada and France on every order. No minimum spend, nothing to work out.

Everywhere else, shipping is free on orders over £150, or the equivalent in your local currency. Below that, the rate is shown at checkout before you pay, based on your delivery address.

Delivery takes 3 to 25 business days depending on destination. Orders to the UK, USA, Canada and France arrive at the faster end of that range; more distant destinations take longer.

Shipping is charged per order rather than per item, so buying more than one piece at a time is usually the cheapest way to order — and it may take you over the free shipping threshold.

    Frequently Asked Questions

What does the 13x4 transparent Swiss lace offer?
The Loose Deep Wave 13x4 Transparent Lace Wig has ear-to-ear lace with deep parting anywhere across the front. Its untinted transparent lace takes on the colour underneath it, while the 13x4 coverage allows the hair to be pulled back without showing the cap edge. Because the lace is finer and more delicate, handle the hairline gently and avoid dragging a comb through the knots.
How should I care for the loose deep wave texture?
This loose deep wave texture tightens and becomes more defined when damp. Wash it, scrunch it, and leave it to dry in its own pattern. Detangle the wig while damp with conditioner, starting at the ends and working upward; do not dry-brush it, as this can permanently pull out the wave pattern.
Which length should I choose, and can the wig be dyed?
The wig is available in 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, and 30 inches, with lengths measured while stretched. Once dry and in its natural wave pattern, it may hang roughly one-fifth to one-quarter shorter—for example, a 20-inch wig sits closer to 15–16 inches. If you are between lengths, choose the longer option; the wig can be dyed to darker shades only.
